When addressing the issue of sustainability, we think using trendy words like Green and Recycle are not enough anymore. At Levitation we give more than just lip service to this area of business.
1) At Levitation we work exclusively with StageRight decking, the industry platinum standard because it is not a one-shot, one-use material.
Our competitors often choose plywood as their decking material, which has to be replenished because wood breaks down quickly and often fails with little warning.
2) Sustainability can also be about the core competency we bring to ever event. Because Levitation works with many partner vendors all over the country, we may be called upon while in your region to source something. We always happy to lend a hand to ensure your events are a success.
3) Why should carpooling be the extent of sustainable transportation when Levitation’s crew chiefs are also certified CDL drivers who control their own transportation (and your order) to and from the your event space. This saves a bundle in transportation fees and labor.
If you need us to pick something up on our way, our crew chiefs are more than able to add extra items like lighting and audio to their truck pack.
4) We have sustained a stellar safety record at Levitation safety for over 20 years. How do we ensure this record?
By offering thorough training practices and paying our crew chiefs a fair living wage, our team members are year-round seasoned professionals. Also, on all Levitation roof jobs our crew chiefs monitor the weather conditions with state of the art technology.
Anyone who has witnessed the bizarre new climate patterns to emerge this century know the importance of a competent leader in this department.
5) The ultimate form of sustainability is the cultivation of excellent relations with you…. our client.
We welcome the spirit of collaboration on our projects. Our relationship-building practices are why many event professionals choose Levitation year after year. And if this relationship puts some green back in your pocket, well that’s fine with us, too.
